2024 Has Arrived!!!

We are moving ahead in the furry of life! December of 2023 was a circus in our home. So much to do, so many wonderful friends and family to see, places to go, gifts to purchase, and more! Starting a new year is a respite, almost a break. Ha.

Our daughter’s first child is due any day, literally. For those of us in the business of babies, this is a momentous time! All our skills and hopes are at the forefront. There are exciting, fulfilling, and exhausting things ahead! Yay!!

I have the added advantage of having lovely daughters-in-law who make life all the more interesting! Women make the world go round. With four sons we have many intelligent and challenging women in our family.

Our eldest son,, David, married a wonderful girl, Jenn. She has supported him in every way. She is a lovely person, intelligent, industrious, creative, and more. We are all very lucky to have her. She is a fabulous mom of four, expecting her fifth child this year.

She is the mom of a son, and recently ran the following list on her Facebook page. I hope you find it as interesting as I have. There is a special responsibility in raising a son. So many of the young men in America today are known as ‘pajama boys’. They live in their parents basement, wining about the world. Jenn is not raising her son to be one of these. She is raising a gentleman, a man we would all like to know and be around. This does not just happen. It takes thoughtfulness, intent, and a plan…….
